Get over yourself, everyone knows you hate it you post it in every single thread.
Which only means you never tried it.
I have had mine for over two years and not one issue at all. It just flat out works. Accept it or not everyone but you can't be wrong.

Yes because I don't like crappy products. I must not have ever tried them.

Ever been shot? Well don't say it's bad because if you haven't tried it you can't know. Despite facts. And faults.

Sorry but I have to agree with above. Anyone with a little bit of common sense that knows how that little thing actually works woudn't be using it IMO. Think about it..........it's reading the tps sensor voltage and telling the ecu a totally different number. What if one day it zonks out and tells the ecu WOT on its own? At least with a tune, it's hard written to the actual pcm rom. Also, a tune will improve the auto trans shifting tremendously. Think about it, it costs $180 for one and a tuner is 400 (depending on where you get it). I'll take the tuned car vs the one w/the VTC. Just my opinion.

It's not really as simple as all that. I know about what you do, and you certainly have a great reputation in the field and I greatly respect that. I know that you have probably forgotten more than I know.

My last two performance cars were a 98 Z28 then a '96 Corvette LT4. My first DBW car was an '06 Cadillac STS V6. I noticed the lag in it, but it was a daily driver, and I didn't really have a great expectation of it.

However, in the Camaro, this thing just seemed like a slug pulling off from a stop light or merging into traffic, unless I stomped on it, then it seemed like it was too much, at least for the situation. I was accustomed to the old cable throttle body cars, thus a more linear throttle response.

I like the throttle controller because it supplies me with the old school linear response. No it does not "add" horsepower, or do any magic tricks, other than make my pedal more responsive. That's it, that's all it does. But there is a notable difference in control and acceleration in those partial throttle situations like merging, passing, rolling from a stop in traffic, that the controller just seems to make it smoother.

Sure, I could send this car off to you, and get the cam and heads done, and come away with a 600hp smooth driving machine. I know that. But that's not what I want right now. I like this car as it is, it's just that the factory DBW lag is ridiculous. The throttle controller is just a simple work around. And it works well for somebody like me.

Im with him I once saw a stock Toyota Corolla with nothing but a VTC beat a hellcat from a roll. Weeks later at the drag strip same Corolla did a wheelie to the 60Ft mark. True story.

He installed his CAI and just couldn't keep the car straight. That CAI just over powers those slicks.

Impossible, once the throttle is fully pressed, the throttle controller is not active, 100% is still 100% so the controller has no way of making a car "faster". And BTW, how does a fwd car do a "wheelie" exactly?

* a little sarcasm to respond to post with a lot of sarcasm, which is kind of funny, I'll give you that.

Probably had some sweet stickers to help with drag and extra hp.
