Wow, awesome Threadjack to a thread titled "Adam's Waterless Wash"!
Diss a site sponsor? Top notch, way to go. Perhaps you'll simply be getting what you pay for? Don't know, never used the stuff... I'd say you guys owe the OP an apology. Doesn't this place have moderators to watch these kind of antics?

No, I have a ton of Adams products and use the waterless wash a lot. Offering another option is fine. I didn't disagree with the op or Adams. Adams can look up my orders. They'll see I spent over $600 with them. I doubt they'd consider that bashing. Besides, maybe the op would like to know there are options. Maybe Adams sees this and produces a concentrate for the new formula. When I looked for the new WW, I got a gallon, but there was no concentrate...

Adam's is a professional. They know their products' quality is high but understand that they're not the only ones on the market, heck, they're not the only sponsor here.
We all use something from Adam's because we too are professional. No one is bashing Adam's.

There are other products out on the market that do just as good or better. No one was bashing Adams, they make great products and I have spent a lot on the products, some are better than others. For example with there buttery wax, do not use a machine to apply. It gets dusty real fast, it's better by hand lol I'll find something else that won't create so much dust when applying it with the machine or just stick to polish and sealant.

I don't any problems hearing different opinions on other products, I started this thread because I was really impressed with Adam's waterless wash system that I had to let others know.
Plus I'm an Adam's fanboy so take it for what it's worth! Paul |

Are you kidding me? I offered a person an alternative to AWW. He spent $66 and now has enough for 44 gallons. Adams bought by the gallon would cost $1759.56 for 44 gallons. Many companies sell WW. It's use is for light cleaning of non bonded contaminates, light dust or pollen. Do you honestly expect me to believe that on a car with the level of dirt that white car in the video had, that rinsing first, foaming down, and then wiping the surface with my MM Incredimitt which is loaded with soap and water, that simply spraying new AWW and wiping with a dry, thin, waffle weave microfiber is as safe? I have some of these AWW towels. The rag company sells the exact same towel, charges less for it, the only difference is they put a silk border on it. It isn't even close to the plushness, and dirt trapping/releasing ability of a MM Incredimitt. These towels also become brittle after 20 washes or so, making them dangerous to use on paint. It may have been inadvertent, but wiping wheels with a towel, and then using it on the paint is a BIG no-no. Brake dust easily scratches clear coat. As usual, you try to twist things to suit yourself. I don't miss the Adams forum at all. On C5 we are allowed to tell the truth. For the OP if you enjoy using AWW and don't mind the extra cost, continue to use it. I would however strongly disagree using it on a car that has stuck on bugs, road film, and dirt stuck to the car. Your just asking for swirls. I am no professional, but this is how professionals wash paint. Why? It has the least possible chance of causing marring to your paint.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011L8QZHG...H4BSAPS15AET1G The Adams employees are amazing people, stand behind their products for obvious reasons but they back any reputable companies out there regardless if they're rivals or not. I asked one of them a while back on this forum what they thought about Meguiar's and they actually backed them up saying their products are legit and they even are very good friends with the vendors from Meguiar's when they go out to car shows and choose to set up their displays RIGHT ACROSS from them. So I don't think anyone is bashing Adams, how could you, great people, great service and great products. That being said, nothing wrong with people expressing their own opinions about different products. I for one am a huge fan of Meguiar's Gold Class Wash. https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G716.../dp/B0009IQXFO Might not be as great as Adam's shampoo which I have tried, but it's cheaper and does the job for me. Although Adams wash media (mitts, sponges, etc) are second to none. I love their big wool thing. Anyways... to each their own, calm the hell down people... at the end of the day it's all soap, bubbles and water. |

I was able to try out the Adam's Waterless Wash this weekend. Very happy with the results, however I did go through nearly a full bottle with one wash (I did buy a gallon as well). My only complaint was that the towels did not hold up that well. I will absolutely use this product again, 4 days later and the car looks much better after a few rainstorms then the previous wash I had been using (ONR).
Any tips on how to wash the wheels? Ideally something that is waterless/rinseless. Charles |

Depending on how dirty the car is, I'll go through anywhere from 1/4 to just over half of a 16oz bottle of Waterless Wash. Adam now sells his new formula Waterless Wash in 32oz bottles as well as the 16oz and gallon sizes.
If I'm doing a Waterless, or Rinseless Wash I do my wheels last, and only clean the faces. I use the same product I'd been using on the paint. What do you mean that your towels didn't hold up well? When it's time to give the wheels a good thorough cleaning, I'm reaching for the hose and a bucket.
