Thanks for that JerTM! When I get it back I will drive it 'til it's telling on itself and then rush it back to the dealership. I just can't believe it was so loud and strained my engine as much as it did and then went away. I don't want to be in the New Mexican desert with a detonated compressor and fallout. That would ruin my trip to see you guys!

I drive in San Antonio with windows down everyday. But it does suck if you get stuck I. Stop/go traffic

Exactly, you get what I'm saying. This is the best car I've ever driven during a TX summer with no air if you are rolling. Stop and go is another story. I would have fried in my 2000 Z28, It had no tint and I couldn't bring myself to tint it because of the rear defroster. But I should have. I so should have!
