2015 LS Borla Pro XS

Recently just bought a 2015 LS which had flow masters mufflers installed, they sounds great until around 2000 rpm and the drone is incredibly loud. I have been doing some research and have been looking into the Borla Pro XS to try and get rid of the drone or atleast calm it down a bit. Does anyone have any other recommendations? Any info would be awesome!

Replace the H-pipe with the Magnaflow Resonated X-pipe. That will tone down the drone at that rpm.

Thanks Dizzy I have seen a lot of people talking about that X- pipe will have to look into it more. Have you had any experience with the Borlas? I am just not a huge fan of the flow master on the V6 would like it to be not as loud overall.

I had a Borla cat-back system installed on my previous 4th Gen V6 camaro w/pacesetter headers. It sounded great, but the drone was atrocious.

Get some J Pipes, that will eliminate your drone issue.

Here is a professionally done video of mine with Borlas (listen with headphones) before I installed ARH long tubes. I even kept my Borlas then but had a special ARH Hpipe made to help it sound great. It sounded (& still does) great under load, at start-up & at WOT. Quiet at cruise, minimal drone to me.

you can find videos of it at WOT on my utube channel RubyCamaro5.

You can also Dynamat the trunk which will help a little.
