The OEM open holes for the exhaust will be filled in with BLACK carbon fiber sheet inserts. They are in the R&D phase as we speak! As far as the comment that it looks DUMB with the open holes, take a CLOSE look at the COPO Camaro RACE CARS. I really do not think those owners would after spending $100,000.00 on them could care less, or would agree with you.

Also by removing the OEM mufflers & center resonator, in addition to the performance gain due to MUCH LESS back pressure, this set up also reduces the total weight of the car by 70 lbs.

I have also lost an additional 80 lbs. of weight by using 19 inch BBS wheels & replacing the OEM struts with a Ride Tech level Two coil over set-up!

YES, you can ABSOLUTELY feel the 150 lb. weight reduction in how much better the car accelerates & handles!

I know for sure they sell an aftermarket diffuser that only has the center cutout with out the stock holes. I've seen it before. Would consider getting that if I was the op. Super easy to install.

Using one of our resonated X pipes in the mid section is a good option, and the layout we use on our 15086 system!

You don't compare a copo camaro which is a drag car and isn't even street legal to your camaro. It doesn't change the fact the most people will see it as weird looking.

It's just an opinion, not really liking the center exhaust. Consider me spoiled on the NPP look.

Just for the record, I hate yellow cars with black rims!

As to how I get the car up on the WORK RACK, I built ramps from 2 BY 12 tight grain yellow pine boards that are 12 ft. long. They are also cross braced in several places as well, for additional strength.

It all started when it was time for the first oil change on my 2003 ZO6 Corvette. The dealer wanted $125.00 to change the oil. That was the last time they ever saw it!

All the best,

Also, thank You for all the kind remarks & helpful information regarding the options for the after market rear diffuser and the X-pipe after the cats.

Most of the system came from a cat back Borla XR1 set up that I had on my 2003 ZO6, but you can get most of every thing that you would need from stainless works, including the 4 in. exhaust tips.

They will even sell you the short lengths of bent tubing with the ends already expanded for slip fit connections. You can then have them welded or use standard exhaust clamps.

You could probably build this system including the resonator delete pipe from Jegs for less than $500.00.

Hope this helps. I am leaving for a camping trip shortly, & will be back on Friday for further help if you have more questions.
