Good luck! It's not to hard, just set aside the day to do it. I started at 8am and was putting the rims back on around 4pm. That's with the 2 hours curing time. I also had to give each coat almost 40 mins to dry since it was only 75 out with no humidity.

Please pardon the critique, but I don't think that looks right from my perspective. That's not for me.

If you like it, all good! Definitely not hating on that beautiful ride of yours... but if I was going to add lettering, I'd center it across where the bow tie used to be as option 1, then perhaps option 2 where you put it.

Did you make sure the chicken had its seat belt fastened?

Yeah.... not 100% on it myself.

Kinda seeing what others might say. Thanks for the comment.

Might just take it all off and do an old school "RS" where the bow-tie was...

All good, brother... sometimes you have to try things on to see if they fit.

Anytime, good luck. FYI, I went with the '69 script emblems as a throw back to the '69's too - my favorite car. Most people don't even see them and that's fine with me. They're there for the people that WILL notice them. While there, I learned the guy working at NAPA was restoring a '69. When he heard I had a 2013, he came outside just to "check it out." He saw the '69 emblems and must've said, "I can't believe you put '69 emblems on it" a dozen times. Great day.

Do they dry faster with more humidity? I thought they dried slower with higher humidity.

Just so you know, after reading the above thread and checking my calipers, I think the one's in the thread are bigger. I also bought the "Chevrolet" and "brembo" decals but I have no idea where I'm going to put them on the caliper. Unless they're WAY smaller than they look in the pictures online. I can probably find room for the brembo ones somewhere.

After first looking at it I was gonna say I agree with Spec, but then I took a 2nd look and it grew on me lol. The closeup pic turns me off for some reason but the overall looks ok. It looks balanced and clean in the center. If ya do the old school thing you gotta focus just on the center I suppose. I dunno, I think it looks good on a vert but don't like it on the coupes, lol. Either way it's still one my favorite cars, it always looks great! Try taking a couple more pics, at least one overall shot from the rear.

Picture just doesn't do justice but this will work… Candy Red Powdercoated rims. Turned out amazing :thumb up: Trying to figure out what to do next to add some red to the car besides adding red halos (Getting done in a few days).
