Best Store Bought Wax/Glaze

Is there such thing as a best wax or glaze you can find at autozone, advanced auto, walmart?

My vote is for Meguiar's #26 Mirror Glaze Paste Wax
The #26 Paste Wax, not the #26 liquid wax.

What is the difference? Besides one is a liquid.

You'll find 4 types of waxes @ auto stores/Wal-Mart.

Cleaner waxes
.
These are popular amongst people who don't prep the paint before waxing. Just wash/wax.
This type of wax contains a solvent/very light abrasive, this removes some of the contamination that regular washing does not, it's not as efficient as claying/clay alternative.
These waxes usually contain fillers. These come in paste form. Durability 1-2 months.
Examples, Megs Cleaner wax, Mothers Cleaner wax etc.

Carnauba waxes.

These contain no cleaners or abrasives. They come in liquid and paste. On a well prepped surface, they will add a warm/deep look to the paint.
Durability 2-3 months.
Examples Megs #26, Mothers pure Brazilian carnauba, Megs Gold Class, etc.

Synthetic Waxes

These products really aren't wax, while they may contain a small amount of carnauba, the main ingredients are polymers. These "waxes" are actually sealants. They won't produce the depth of a carnauba, but provide longer protection. 4-5 months. Paint should be prepped properly before application.
Examples, Megs Ultimate Wax, Collinite 845

Spray waxes

These are the easiest to apply and remove, but protection is limited to a few weeks or less. Good choice for someone who wants to spend less amount of time, just wants something fast/easy. No prep needed.
Examples, look across the shelves of the detailing section, you'll see a lot of these. People like fast and easy.

I can't see the same depth of shine with the liquid over the paste (could be just me?), and the liquid doesn't seem to last as long on the vehicle as the paste.

meguires 105/205 compound and mirror glaze can be had at advanced or autozone. They come in a larger 32? oz bottle. Follow these up with meguires ultimate (synthetic) or meguires gold (carbanuba) and you will get a great product.

I play around with synthetic and carbanuba top coats. In my opinion the carbanuba produces the warmest look however it catches a lot more debris such as pollen. The synthetics like meg's ultimate paste wax or nxt 2.0 are easy on easy off and give a good result with less debris pickup.

I usually use Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax and 'quik detail' it with Ultimate Quick Wax. Recently I've been testing Meguiars D115 (available from AutoGeek.net) and Meguiars Paint Protect 365. The pics taken of my car from the Cars & Coffee are with the PP365 and detailed prior to the event with the D115.

I don't believe he was going to find Collinite 915 at the local auto supply box store.

I always like Meguiars and Mothers, but also used Eagle 1 wet. All are pretty good off the shelf.

If you want to drop around $30, P21S (found on amazon) is not bad either. Ridiculous how easy it is. Wipe on (one direction, no circles), wipe off. No haze, or residue. A little goes a long way.

I can also speak highly for Adams (Carnuba), Chemical Guys (Carnuba) and Zaino (polish).

I use a lot of different things from time to time depending on the look I need, or the color of the car.
