Dude that sucks :(

I had a semi take off the passenger mirror once while driving my Dad's car. Scary. Glad you're still with us.

Lil sandpaper (super fine) and some touch up paint and you will have to look REALLY hard to see it.

Just got my trunk panel black out kit and hood spears with RS logos. I must say that Big Worm is a class act. Great packing and included a nice appiication tool.

Yeah I was going to hit it with a sharpie but the sanding sounds like a better plan lol or I can make these the winter wheels which is an excuse to get new wheels. Lol

Attempted to install black rally stripes on my SIM vert... and failed! I was a bit apprehensive about trying the install myself, but felt reasonably confident after watching numerous how-to videos on YouTube. Then I went and committed the one absolute no-no and got water on the underside paper backing of the vinyl before I could peel it off... Fortunately I paid only $50 for this set of stripes (off a member here) so it was a relatively inexpensive mistake/lesson.

Changed the transmission and rear diff fluids to Royal Purple. The car shifts like it just rolled off the assembly line

Brought it into Goodyear for an alignment after the install of new shocks and struts which I finally figured out. I must apologize to Koni and Summit for my rant but it still peeved me off. But I fixed the situation myself and got the shocks and struts working properly without clunking or squeaking. I do still hear a little of something knocking but not 100% sure it wasn't there before the install. Doesn't sound bad at all and I'm happy with the result so far, just getting this alignment now and debating the one time or lifetime alignment service, thoughts?

I was intimidated by the thought of rally stripes because of the hood contours. I know people who have done their own, but I wouldn't be one of them!

Lot's of companies who do this all the time so you should be able to find a reasonable price. My "hood spears" seem to be easy enough I can do them myself.

Oh that's good news.

Lifetime Alignment vs. Once depends on how much you like the shop. Some Goodyear shops around here do not do very good quality work.

What is the price difference?

Since I just got new tires from them a couple months ago they will charge me $74 for one time and $149 for lifetime. $170 regular for lifetime and I think $90 Reg for once. I've read some threads and some think once you've been aligned your set unless you hit huge pot holes or suspension changes etc.... Don't want to short myself and don't want to pay for a service I may not use, could use money elsewhere
