Dent free repair. Help!!

I was at the golf course today and as I was still parked with the golf bags in the trunk and BAM ... a golf ball hit the TOP of my car above the driver window.

It actually scared me because I thought something exploded in the car because the ignition was turned on and was about to crank. The guy and his buddies were well like your at golf course and S*** happens. Needless to say the Military Police arrived and kinda changed their tune. But still not to thrilled but hey if your caught with your hand in the cookie jar then fess up. I would be cool if the guy would have said I will pay for half of the cost. Then I would not have called Dispatch. Jezz its practically a New car with less than 14K on it.

Needless to say has anyone went with a Dent Free repair guy and what was the cost?

I am thinking no more than $200 to $300. Its not to deep or scratched. Don't want to file a claim on the insurance my insurance is high enough from the accidents my wife and my 20 something daughter has incurred over the last 24 months.

I've used PDR Paintless Dent Repair on a few vehicles. The place I've gone to charges by the panel, and with yours being the roof, at least, part of the headliner will need to come down to get to the dent. If the guy's good, you'll never know there was ever a dent. I don't believe for one dent in the roof near an edge of the headliner should be any more than $200.
Don't park at a golf course, s*** happens!

Yeah I was thinking the headliner needs to be pulled back some with the sun visor removed. I am thinking of this guy's shop http://dingmasters.net/

Hopefully the guy that hit my car will pay. If not then I will pay. Bottom line if it where me and my golf ball went way foul like his did then I would pay for the damage.

Same as any sport a baseball goes foul and smashes a window then you would pay for the damage. The car was a good 50 yards and a big tree blocking. He just put way to much heat in his swing and sliced getting to the green. This ball did not hit the pavement first and then hit the roof. Jeez. Like I mentioned it sounded like something exploded in the car it so hard.

90% of people who play golf struggle with a slice. Avoid parking at golf courses to the right of any greens, or near the right side of any fairway 150-250 yards from the tee box. A good PDR guy will fix it.

A little more labor intensive when they have to remove panels but should be an easy fix. Had two "good" dings on Body Panel Crease removed flawlessly in my Driveway for $175 That never use to be possible. Some of these PDR guys can do wonders when it the past it meant a trip to the body shop. Best wishes OP.

I have had four side and rear dents removed, as well as some waves above the front wheel arches. you would never be able to tell where the dents were. PDR specialists can do some pretty amazing things.

I have had good results with a mobile PDR provider in LA called All Out Dent. He has worked on my car twice, and did a really great job each time. Pricing was better than elsewhere too:

http://www.alloutdent.com/

If you send him a picture beforehand he can give you a quote. Not sure if he services Oxnard, but would think so.

Just had a few door dings and a crease on the door removed......guy did a great job yesterday. Last night a hose reel feel off the garage wall and put a dent in the fender and another in the drivers door just below the mirror. I was like really ? I had it parked safely in the garage after admiring the ding free paint. I was pissy the whole day today....now where did I put that guy's card?

It won't cost 2 or 3 hundred.....and these guys do cash......well mine did anyway....and unfortunately will again. And the plus to pdr is no body work or paint needed.

Gotta pic? did it hit the roof or the rail?

Golf ball dents can be pretty nasty to remove if the metal is to stretched. To remove a gold ball dent in a roof (if it's not stretched to bad) I'd charge a minimum of $300.00 if the headliner needed dropped. Beats having the entire roof repainted and way way cheaper

Just an update. Dent Works http://www.dentworks.co/

Great work. not sure how he knocked the dent out. But it was done after a short walk to grab a coke and return. By the way he did out of his home garage.

I am thinking he was able to tap up with the headliner installed. Have not noticed any marks in the headliner and everything is tight.

Anyways the charge was reasonable at $120.00
