Yes love the Updates over the centuries, but face it if it does come out its going to kick the Fast to the curb and be the must have mod and damn if I am not still hoping someday to not have to go with a metal midrise/highrise intake someday or FAST or ls7 heads and MSD airforce.... to stay NA.

Has anyone seen that Edelbrock is coming out with a dual TB crossram manifold for the LS3?

If Vararam is still working on the tooling than I would suspect we are a couple of months away from a product being available. Maybe sometime in September. I don't think Vararam is all that big of a company and they probably don't have the resources to go all out on this project. IMHO the release time will depend on the money available to spend on the project. AKA cash flow. |

The thing is friggin Ginormous that Edelbrock is making: yup cant miss it ! or a Nelson intake either like squatting dinosaurs.... The thing is aftermarket installations of the ls3 can fit intake highrises to the moon with a 9/71 blower and flying monkey barn unlike the confines of a Camaros engine bay in a gen 5.

I bet that Edelbrock and the Vararam manifolds are similarly sized and shaped. The Vararam will have the weight advantage but the Edelbrock will have the availability advantage.

IDK what comes with a dual TB setup as far as tuning...
I just wish Vararam would get the VR-X into production already. It would save us all a lot of trouble...

I still find it laughable that there are people still waiting for this.
It'll be released right along with the 2012+ OTR intakes. HINT: NEVER.

I'm curious if the main reason Vararam is having trouble getting this thing to market is funds. They are a smaller company, especially when compared to a company like Edelbrock.

You are right. I doubt that Vararam has the resources a company such as Edelbrock or Holley has for example.

Here is a post I saw on another forum and I told the guy I would spread the word. He has posted before and has a direct line to the hands on guy.
"I spoke with Patrick today and he has over 800 units on hand going through final 2 changes. 1. Using new process to insert metal threaded inserts to mate pieces together. 2. CNC machining ports for perfect alignment as 1989GTA told us in his post above. LS1-2-6, LS3 and LS7 all available together before SEMA this year. One version of cathedral port. 3 versions of both LS3 and LS7. Race versions for LS3 and LS7 8k rpm The standard version of each will fit under hood of C5 and C6 Corvettes." |
