Yes. I can't think of a single 1LE owner who bought them more than once (some buy a second set because they wear out the rears and just chalk it up to newcar-itis)

How long will the thread last ? Like an estimate, like normal driving, occasionally a burnout once every few months? How many miles can I go?

Got 6k out of mine. No racing or burnouts. Now on Nitto Motivos for all weather.

275 front, 315 rears. 1" hotchkiss drop.

As above. Most people see 6-8k I got about 10-12 on mine because it was Dailey all highway. And burnouts don't tickle my fancy

I don't get what you're saying. "Not really"...about what? A 9"-10" wheel is recommended for a 285 tire.

Meaning it's not a 1LE setup at all. Just becaUse you're using 285s. The wheels are not even close to the same size and won't act/react anything like so

I'm not going to be tracking my convertible, so I really don't need the car to act like a 1LE. All I was saying, was that I'm running a 285 square set-up, similar to the 1LE. This way, I can rotate tires. It makes logical sense if you ask me. Who wouldn't want to be able to rotate their tires front to back?

I will say that I actually loved my F1s in the summer. All other seasons they sucked. Would not hook in anything remotely under 70* and the treadwear was horrible. But they really cornered well and hooked great in the Texas summer last year.

But 6-7K miles on a car that did not race, or do burnouts was just not a justifiable expense going forward. I also had 285 and 305 set up and it was great, but you really have to pay attention on cool streets.

Mine handled ok on mostly bald tread in the rain once at 80MPH, but no jack rabbit starts or hard corners. Just driving in top gear and cruising they did fine, but you do not push those tires in other than summer and dry conditions without being in a very safe place.

Good luck OP. I think you will like them, but the tires will go fast, and be very careful in anything but hot and dry conditions.

If it's not hot and dry... yea. But in Texas that is 75% use. LOL
