thats true. here in NY you would get 2 months of 70+ weather use... and 50% of that is rain

The Goodyear F1:G2's are good tires. Just not the best for normal driving year round. I got 2 years out of mine, but I also drive a lot less than the average person. Maybe 10k miles or so during that time.

Like I said, they are manageable in the snow and rain so long as you don't drive like an idiot and keep traction control on. That being said, though, I would *not* buy these again and would go for g-Force Sport COMP-2 tires. They are not as sticky as the Goodyears, but should be much better suited for daily driving.

@OP, no offense but you seem too impatient. Slow down or you're going to mess up your purchase. A lot of people in this thread are trying to give you good advice. Never rush when choosing parts for your car unless something's critically wrong with it.

I spent the extra coin on Michelin Pilot Super Sports and have 0 regrets. Phenomenal in all
Weather. Still have plenty of grip out of a 285 over 600rwhp and a great tread life

I ordered my FR41's from Phastec with free shipping and 5% off with coupon code welcome5. The wheels drop shipped from FR in Chino, CA. I'm glad I took my time researching and considering what wheels to go with. Had them on since last September. Very happy with my purchase.

Same here, with only 530rwhp though. I think they are worth the extra money. I had Pirelli's and Nitto's prior to these, albeit they were 40 series, they don't compare to the Michelin PSS's, which are way better in all facets. Tires are one of the most important mods you can do your car. IMO

Agreed. But. I will say. Even though I can launch it very hard. After I can get some new axles I'm putting 305 Michelin Cup 2s on the rear because I need a little more grip

one more thing I wanted to add, the hub bore will be 66.9 on the FR41's that Factory Reproductions sells, on Ebay you will find ones that look the same for a nice price but they are bigger bores 67.1 or 70.3 etc. it might not be much but it could be enough to cause a jerk in the steering wheel. Go Factory Reproductions, call them direct and they will get you the best deal possible and you will get the right sizing, Hub size, etc and avoid any head aches. IMO of course

That is why I asked for his age. Not to be rude, but it sounds like a decision that would come from an 18 year old kid.

Yeah, I'm out of this thread's discussion for now. 5 pages of advice and he went with a totally different rim anyway. Lol.

On the bright side, we now have a recent thread which does a good job explaining some of the better aftermarket tires and ZL1 style rims on the market.
