The hoods on our Camaro's are made out of Aluminum . They don't rust they corrode . The exposed edge should be treated with a clear iridite or paint . I didn't see the picture that you're talking about .

It occurred to me I never responded to your post. Thank you for your concern. Yes... I am trying to keep positive, and I am happy the work is underway. I feel it's at a good shop. My original choice couldn't even get me scheduled until Sept!, so I am crossing my fingers. I have new wheels on order, and some Big Worm graphics to put o so I am hoping it will be better than ever.

But, it is a major bummer to be without my car during the nicest two weeks of summer so far... Summer is short up/over here!

Diagnosed the rattle from underneath my vehicle..... It's the Borla Cat back I had put on.... it's loose at the cats and x pipe.. bottomed out leaving the Atlanta Motor Speedway two weeks back and probably jarred it loose then...Well I found the problem and now onto fixing it....

It wasn't a perfect fit but you can definitely get it done and get it to look mean, just make sure you get it really bolted down and you'll be good!

Yes sirrrr, took it back to Midas and they tac welded it in place since I'm never taking it off after spending what I did on it haha
