CAI Choices

I'm shopping for a CAI. Anyone out there have any experience with the Blackwing unit from SLP?

Any feedback good or bad, or inputs on different brands is appreciated!

Thanks!

Maxx

Can you get it from the GM catalog?

That's a great scene BTW. I loved it!

Put in the Z/28. No issues whatsoever, never a regret.

I had the SLP, filter and tube only. It made car a little louder, throttle response was about the same as stock. I still have it for sale if you want it? The Z/28 intake was definitely much better in throttle response, and also changed the exhaust sound. Z/28 intake is the shit! Like Moto-Mojo said "no regrets"!

+1 on the Z/28 intake. I've had it for 5 months and no issues.

You may want to take a look at the R2C Cold Air Intake. I've had mine for a while and I'm very happy with it. The company specializes in filter technology and many dirt track and off road racers use their products.http://www.r2cperformance.com/camaro...ir-intake.aspx
