Almost. Just almost (vtc)

Was just leaving the girls house middle of the night 3am and a few lights and potholes later my baby went in reduced engine mode with check engine light and service stabilitrak. One side of me Freaked out the other said nope not about to have it . Pulled over chcked the vtc connections and squeezed em tight in case th ey came loose. Opened hood everything okay. Started it up went back to normal but check engine light still was on. Drove back home normal.

At this point I was ready to toss the vtc just for almost leaving me stranded. Next morning went to auto zone used their code reader and no surprise it was the code p2138. What was crazy though aFter guy told me and unplugged the code reader the engine light went off lol. Was getting ready to disconnect the battery but that there just solved my problem.

God is good. Moral is for those who have vtc I think potholes may make the vtc come loose. Been running the vtc for three days since then now no problems so far . Had the vtc for two months before this occurred

Why delete the thread? This could potentially help someone with a similar issue

? WTF?

I have two VTC's (wired in parallel) with a direct lead to the catch can sub-assembly. That gives me something like 800 RWHP. All the dash lights are on and blinking but I just wear my sunglasses and it doesn't bother me.
