Report from Downunder - and front brake issue

Hi all - 2014 Z28 in New Zealand is now run in and sounding phenomenal!! What a car. Worth every penny spent. Car gets many thumbs up and comments on every drive. One issue I have is the front brakes rub slightly but continuously with every revolution of the wheels and applying the brakes does not stop it. Having no Chevy dealerships in NZ, I took it to local Ferrari dealership (who's every model now has CC brakes so they have a lot of experience with them) and they showed me a 458 Italia and other models on the hoist with CC brakes that rub just like mine - even when not engaged. They felt the rubbing was not unusual. Questions to you all is : is this normal for the Z? Lastly, even the Ferrari mechanics were impressed with the Z, which says something given that the least powerful Ferrari available these days is 552hp.

I've never noticed anything like you are describing. FYI - I have not burnished my brakes (I don't track mine).

My brakes do this and it's completely normal. There is a document on GM's internal website for service techs that explains this. It happens on Z06's as well. This is just standard with CCB's unfortunately.

Thanks for all replies. Appreciated as always. From VegasZL1's reply it seems mine is not the only Z to do this and to others, I suggest you drive past a solid wall with window open and listen carefully for the rubbing sound reflecting back. It is easily missed under the other sounds the car makes. You may find yours does the same. Thank you.
