hmmm. If only they could squish the height 4" and drop 300-400 lbs I would be all in. as it sits I am going to have to purchase a 02-04 Z06 corvette. Thats not to say I won't test drive a SS at the first opertunity. The only thing that could sway me at this point would be HWY milage over 34 mpg

I'm guessing 3850-3900 lbs for the V8. It really is too bad we can't keep todays technoligy but go back 15 years when gas was cheap and cars didn't have to have 600 lbs of extra crap for safty

yea but you can't have either those in japan. so you never know if the camaro will out perform your expectations.

I'm thinking the V8 RS should have the little slit/vent in the front so that it looks like the concept just a little more or just to distinquish the V8. Or maybe the little Slit/vent is a functional for the V8?

Now, if the V8 RS comes with that little vent, and has the 400hp, and come in at just under way under 30k, That is my car. But like but I might be jumping the gun a bit I still want the SC V8. I want to see what comes out. Sh*t that car is nice!

In a way I hope that some of this is false! I would of rather heard it all from the people who worked so hard for so long. Their shining moment has been taken. Sad!

Cost savings, it's been discussed before.
