I plan on buying a 2010 Camaro 2SS with RS over the next few days and wanted to get your feedback.

It has 23k miles and I'm about to have a pre purchase inspection performed but a few things that I'm not sure if I should be worried or not.

The carfax doesn't show any accidents however, I know this is the second owner but the carfax shows only one owner.

The car doesn't have a valid registration since the owner claims that it doesn't pass due to the window tint being too dark. He says he refused to remove the tint.

There are no mods to the car except for an air intake.

Thoughts?

I'd get an 11. The HUD is worth it

Carfax should show title transfer for each owner. If the title is valid you should be ok because your inspection will show if it's been wrecked. Make sure it doesn't have a salvage title, if it does it's been wrecked or totaled at some time.

I would question the seller, especially in his claim about the tinting.....

+1 on that. I just picked up my 2011 2ss and it's extremely convenient. Shows your speed, RPMs, direction and temp outside.

The title is clean, there are no reported accidents. I definitely want a 5th gen Camaro and I know from 2011 on they had the HUD but this is purely going to be a weekend driver and I'm going to mod a lot. This is a fairly good deal.

Absolutely! How much are they selling it to you for? I love the look of the 2010-2013. The first Camaro i test drove was the 2016, but i was able to get a good deal on the 2011 2ss i bought for being a veteran. 17k and i'm living out a dream!! (the 2016 i originally looked at was around 40-46k

I apologize it took so long for me to respond but I bought the 2010 2SS with RS package that included factory GFX and 21" rims. Has 23k miles on it and it's super clean with no visible wear inside or out. I put it on a lift as well and it's extremely clean. Paid 22k for it and loving it.

My early '10 2SS shows all that and a lot more ?
