at the risk of sounding stupid. how do you now if you have the 1LE pkg? i have a badge in the engine compartment that says performance. obviously i have the 6 speed manual tranny. do they all have it?

I have the silver performance badge under my hood as well. I believe they all have them.

My build date is Jan.29/15 , a day after one of the other posters. It's a std. W/ nav but no dual mode exhaust. I have since installed design covers custom seat covers in Emerald green, ( protects the seats, give the two tone interior effect and is much nicer sitting in after the sun beats down on those summer days) (pics on my profile of covers) cut the stock exhaust out and installed the Borla Atak axel back exhaust, Black hawk cold air intake, multi coloured under glow lights with remote (150 LED's) and even though some of you will cringe..... Next month or two, I am going to be installing Vertical doors Inc hinges ( Lamborghini doors)
I haven't heard any one talk about doing this yet! To each their own, I love the look. I can't wait. I'll post some pics in September when it's done. Happy cruising

Earlier this year when I was in the market for a unique Camaro, I saw a 2012 orange SS with the lambo door kit on it with only 18000km selling for $29000. I fell in love with it. I missed that deal then saw the Green Flash. Edition and jumped on it!

There's a guy on here Bud 1LE 2SS RS that got some of the components installed by the dealer, but the total 1LE package was not available on the Green Flash from the factory. Maybe he will see this post and chime in.

Mriguy, you said in one of your earlier posts when you purchased your car you did get your window sticker with the car. Look in the options on the right side and if it was added it would be listed there. But I don't think they offered it on convertibles.

thank you. i do not see it on the sticker. but the items i see that make it a 1LE is the LS3 motor(6 speed manual), the strut brace, the hood louver etc. so i don't know but i guess it doesn't really matter. awesome is awesome right?:

i agree i missed out on a 2012 orange coupe with 8000 miles and wanted to kick myself then drove a red convertible and a white one. then just could not pull the trigger on one. then when i saw this one. it was just a not matter of if but when!! so glad i waited.

The strut brace is standard on all convertibles, the hood louvers are standard on all SS models but black and all V-8 6-speed sticks are LS-3's.

The 1LE package consists of suspension components (which Bud has) and driveline components (which Bud does not have).

But, you are correct awesome is indeed awesome!!! I love mine!!!

My package was ordered by the dealer and dealer installed.
And it does handle awsome with that package .

I'll bet it handles great! I never realized the 1LE came with the upgraded transmission.

Putting the 3.91 gears is on my list for modification to my GF.

heard a loud bang the other morning sounded like e-brake letting go. but has anybody had a problem with their parking brake? also when using it it has to be all the way up. i remember when they use to be self adjusting. any ideas? i did see a video on manually adjusting it but you have to remove the rear rotors and stuff.

Since mine is a stick, I use it all the time and have not ever had an issue with it.
