Is my car missing something?

So I've been looking at the "what did you do to your 6th gen" thread and noticed a couple cars have some plastic shields behind the left and right ends of the lower grille opening. Is that part of the air deflector package we get?

So here's what I'm talking about. I found a member's car on here that has what appears to be a plastic backing to the front grille on both sides. This is the left side of that car

This is mine, same side. It's like this on both sides of both cars. On mine you can see an air duct (pretty sure it's the brake cooling duct) in between the radiators. Is the first one just the air deflector/track package?

I'm fairly sure those plastic pieces behind the grill are intended for the camaros without the upgraded cooling. The SS needs that area open.

It's just a colored accent. Such as vinyl. Members are also grabbing some lower grills from manufacturers that match the SEMA grill.

Those are on the convertibles.... They lack the auxillary coolers that a coupe has, hence the blockoff plates.... It is quite ugly back there with no coolers.... coupes do not require them and I do not recommend them either....

Thanks y'all. So the convertibles don't come with aux cooling? Any reason why? Keeping the weight down perhaps?

Available space issues and weight.... Verts aren't usually tracked either..... Not allowed without roll bars....Only drag strips usually....
