That was my main concern was inside the cabin. I wouldn't care, but my wife might not like it. I've always loved the smell of the old carb V8's when you fire them up. As long as its not overpowering I think I'll skip the cats. Cheaper too. Did you tune it right away?

There is no smell in the cabin, even with the windows down stopped at a light. I also have a 1980 IH Scout that runs a 750 carb on a 345 to true dual straight pipes. That thing smells like fuel big time. The Camaro is nothing compared to it.

Speed Engineering here w/Texas Speed HFCs, no fumes at all, sounds good with Flowmaster 10s, almost too loud. The price fit in my budget.
