Ok this is my 2nd post on this thread. I must say HOT! HOT! HOT!

Not an expert, but I predict these are the articles the various mags were supposed until the "embargo" was lifted after the announcement on Monday. Some European site broke the embargo by publishing today, once that happens, they all let loose with their stuff a few days early since the secret was out and they need to compete...Oddly enough it happens all the time...And I think GM was smart about it and would not let them have pics of the SS just in case this happened, but the Edmunds article talks about what they saw with the SS....

Yup that's exactly what happened here. Manufacturers release this info to the media early so that the media outlets can have the stories written up by the official announcement and can post them immediately after. However, once one outlet screws the embargo, its a free for all so no one is left in the dust. I hear this time it was the Brits who broke ranks first. Good job guys. First you can't figure out which is the correct side of the road to drive on, then you go and blow this for GM. See if anyone shows you a car again. I jest I jest. I lived in England for a few months and I can respect them.

The pics on all the sites credit GM for the pics, the Edmunds article even makes fun of the GM photoshop work on a couple of them..

No doubt the SS picture's will have the stripes.. Hopefully the yellow color isn't velocity yellow.. I do hope there is an option for the SS for a more Bumblebee looking yellow/gold.. Everything is looking good GM, I think you have a winner with this car that should put you guys ahead of Toyota in sales once more and reverse the downward trend of losing money each year...

I'm believing the legitimate nature of these images for the RS model at the very least. But in the end, I'll try my best to go for the V8 either way, so I really don't care how the RS looks, but it's good to know that if the V6 looks this spectacular and close to the concept, the V8 will take my breath away!

doesn't gm always beat toyota in sales but doesn't profit because of their union deals
