Its time for rear tires

I have 10k on the rear Pirellis and i'm at 3/32. I was hoping to get a bit more out of them but that wasn't the case. Always kept them at the recommended 36psi cold. Anyway, here are the 2 tires I'm looking at.
The General G-MAX AS-03 tires, 480 tread wear, 10/32.
And the BFGoodrich G-Force COMP-2 A/S, 400 tread wear, 9/32.
I'm since the Pirellis are 220 tread wear, I am hoping that something over 400 will get longer life. I don't need a real sticky tire. Its my daily driver and I don't race or track the car.

So far I'm having great luck with my toyo proxies 4 plus, but between the two you listed I would go with the bfg's

What's your power level? Personally, I am not a fan of either tire.

My car is stock, except for a few bolt-ons (see my sig).
I see the Nitto Motivo has 560 tread wear, add that one to the mix too.

I have the motivo... For an everyday driver the tire is fine... but if you want to just have a little fun on the weekends... its hard great for burnouts, but if you are pushing a yellow light turning right well... lets just say I took the turn sideways.

I've had the GMax. Worked great up here in northern Oklahoma weather year round. Just now replaced the rear with the BFGoodrich Sport Comp 2 Friday. Time will tell how they do.
I'm not a fan of the sport comps look so far. The only thing I have to judge at the moment.

You will be a huge fan of the BFG's when it rains.

Of the two listed I'd pick the BFG.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

What part of the look do you not like on the BFG ?
How many miles did you get out of the Generals ?

But those BFGs are soooo hard to get...305/35/20 are on nationwide backorder until like October - the 285/35 is steadily going that way too. Unless anyone has some insider info to share?

I ended up getting the BFG tires. Even though the Generals have a higher tread-wear rating, I read alot of reviews that said they have a very thin sidewall. Hopefully the BFG tires will last longer than the stock Perelli tires. Thanks everyone for your opinions
