There's also a good possibility of getting Art to come out and drive the pace car (some of you know what I mean). For anyone who has not done this we meet at gate 2 at the track around 11:00 to sign waivers and pay the $25 fee to run 3 laps at noon. If 10 cars or more it's $15. These are 3 paced laps, no passing, no burnouts, no idiotic stunts. With Art behind the wheel of the pace car the speeds will be what most of us can handle. After that, we will head over to Seneca Grand Prix and ride the go-karts, provided we can get that set up. Ususally $20 for 2 10 minute sessions behind the wheel. Then if you want, we can go back over to the track and do the 5:00 run. What I need now is an idea who is interested for what. please post your poison - Noon laps, go karts, 5:00 laps. No need to PM me, just post here so we can give them an idea of the head count.
I am interested. I would definitely do noon laps. Go-karts sounds like fun as well. Safe to assume that family (wife and 4yr old) can't do laps, right? Is there a place they can hang around and watch/take pictures?

5pm additional laps is less likely - probably would depend on how the day goes.

Yes, family can do laps. Everyone in the car has to sign waiver. Anyone can also sit and takes pics from the turn 2 grandstand if they don't want to ride.

I'll put you down for noon-karts-maybe 5:00

Perfect.

Is this club only? I have an out of state friend with a '15 1LE that might be interested in joining in if that was ok.

Like vin said. Non-club members can go, just make sure they understand the rules so they don't f it up for the rest of us. Almost got kicked out once because someone's f-wad buddy was passing cars after being told not to. In essence, this is open to anyone. We could potentially be out there with mom-n-pops minivans. However, they usually take just us in a separate group since we have so many cars.

After all, if we let ssmike go in his C6, we'll take anybody.

Perfect. This is another mature adult - no worries on ruining it for everybody. If he lived here in NY instead of CT I'm sure he'd be a club member.

Put over 500 miles on in a day this week. Took the lady on a day trip up to the Adirondacks. Don't you know after the dry, next to no rain all summer we've had it rained most of the trip. Guess that mean's we've gotta do it again in a few weeks when the leaves turn.

If anybody is looking for some really good driving roads 28N from North Creek up to and on to Blue Ridge Road over to 87 is a heck of a fun stretch of road. Then around the back of Whiteface mountain from Wilmington over to Bloomingdale through Franklin Falls is just turn after turn as well. Road quality is decent, good 7/10ths driving opportunities with minimal traffic.

I bought a Silverado Feb 22 and it only has 253 miles on it. Wife just drives it to the liquor store once a week. Still has the original gas in it, lol. Getting low though.
