texan: I was TPW 07September, produced 10Sept, have VIN. Toby at Classic says it's in Illinois and should be in Grapevine by next week.

My dealer called me this morning to let me know that I can come get the car next Wednesday the 23rd.

I cant for the life of me guess why I dont have a vin yet!!!! Just my luck Viz hasnt responded today and my dealer checked this am and no vin but I have heard nothing this pm. I check gmtracking.com but I dont know that it is very up to date.

My dealer has provided me the VIN# and railcar# for my vehicle. The vehicle is being shipped via CSX. I called CSX customer service and they would not provide me any shipping due to security. They told me only the dealer can call and check on the status.... Is that true?

My dealer just contacted me and my baby has been born and I have a VIN-2g1fk1ej5a9145577. Finally......

Those without a VIN yet, hang in there. I'm sure your car is already made and you will get your VIN anytime now.

Now, what do I do next?

1.You can call this number for CSX 1-800-235-2352
2.at the prompted for location or weight, press "1"
3.When prompted for the car initials, say ETTX (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4.When prompted for the car number, say 907048 or whatever your car number is
5.When prompted for next car say DONE.

Thank you so much... The car was loaded on the railcar on 09/14 at 5:38PM and no ETA available yet...

I will check back daily....

I was able to find the railcar information using the CSX automated system. I think that the car will be transferred to Norfolk Southern railroad company and shipped to Petersburg, VA.

How would I be able to track the railcar for Norfolk Southern?

Had a message on our answering machine from 3 this afternoon.....dealer said the car was in transit and should be here within a week!!!!

He said on the last two they sold the first one showed up four days after it was shipped, while the other one took over a week....hopefully mine is a quick one!
