Driver's side lumbar support install

Anyone done this? I've needed to replace this part for quite some time, and finally ordered it. Having looked at it before, I assumed that it would be a pretty straightforward install, however it looks as if I need to remove the entire seatback cushion/foam in order to do the install.

Has anyone attempted this one on their own? Once I can get the top two hooks into the seat frame, the remainder can be done from the back seat with everything in place, but it looks like getting the top two hooks is gonna be a b*tch.

Tips? Suggestions?

If anyone has a way to completely remove the foam/leather without pulling the entire seat, I'm happy to give that a shot...not sure it can be done, though.

I've considered just cutting the old one out, as it looks like I can do that, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get the 2 top hooks in there without coming from the front of the frame, so I'm not sure that's a good idea.

Half tempted to let the local upholstery shop install it for me, but I'm not terribly interested in paying what I'd assume to be about $150 for 1.5 hours billable time on a $20 part.
