Thanks!! The plan is to have at least one Camaro get together a year at the house. Time to party, for sure. The driveway definitely needs to be paved, and made to go around the left side of the house. I need to find someone to refinish the floors in October. Would like to have it done before the furniture arrives. I will need to find a contractor next year, wife wants Bilco doors put in, and I want a pellet stove in the basement. Probably won't be until 2018 for the shop, unfortunately.

Are you thinking pellets for primary heat? I ask because I'm curious as I do it both ways. I have a pellet stove in the finished half of my basement of my ranch style house. I have a cold air return setup in the room with the stove and run the air handler to move heat around the house - it works pretty decent. I also have a propane furnace. Last year it was break even or cheaper to just run the propane. Keeping the stove fed and cleaned is worth a few bucks a day to me - I probably will only buy a couple of tons this season to keep the chill out of the basement when I'm working down there, and heat primarily with propane. Once propane comes back up (hopefully not anytime soon) I'll probably start burning more pellets. It used to be you could get them for close to $200/ton - but now that the area is saturated with pellet stoves they are really gouging people for them - I didn't see them under $250 a ton last year, and at the beginning of the season it was even worse.

Was going to use the pellet stove as a secondary, to try to keep the propane usage down. This winter will be propane only, so we'll see how it goes. The house does have 2x6 exterior walls going for it. We have so many things we want to do, but first things first, we need to get settled.

If you're in the area and interested you can ride out to Sylvan Beach with me when I'm going. I go out rt 49 to 13 to Sylvan Beach when I go.

No problem. Hope you can make it. I put you on the list as a maybe. The list along with a link to details can be found on the club's Google calender where you can find a link on post 1 of this thread.

I'm in for Watkins Glen and am up for whatever. Early runs, late runs, go karts, chicken, pizza. Let's do it.
