Track day with video!

My first attempt at recording during a track day. I had an amazing time and learned so much. There was a great guy there with a 2013 GT500 who took me out in his car to teach me some lines and breaking points. That guy could really drive! Still learning a lot but I had my biggest lesson after my fastest/last lap. I noticed my breaks were starting to fade in the last corners which I thought was odd but just figured with a 100 degree day it was normal. As I came out onto the straight I had to break for a guy ahead of me and thank the heavens he was there. It was at this point I realized my brakes were completely gone! Long story short I was introduced to a little thing called vapor lock. My brake fluid was the original the car came with and I should have known better and that it needed to be changed before a track day. Lesson learned and Motul 600 is on its way. All in all it was an absolute blast!

How do I put a dang youtube video on here?

P.S. for you track guys using TrackAddict what mount and what OBDII blue tooth are you guys using?

Good to hear you enjoyed your track outing.

I am an advocate of using SRF brake fluid because it has the highest wet boil point of anything sold. The start up is expensive, but because the wet boil is so high, you don't need to flush as often your car is almost always track ready.

Glad you got it figured out. And definitely good call on getting the Motul in there. You dodged a bullet for sure.
Suggestion for future track day video: mount the camera so so can see the track and also see your inputs (or mount a second camera shooting just you). You can then see anything you should improve on (hand placement, steering technique, etc.). I've noticed a couple of bad habits that I have since eradicated by doing that.

Good point. I will try this next time.

I thought about it but I feel like I don't track the car enough to make it worth it. I'm lucky if I get 2 track days in a year. Motul should be good if I bleed it once a year.
