For me I'd miss the extra 200$ Each month In the ss car payment and my 27 +mpg more than I'd miss the thrill of an extra 75 hp and bragging rights. But that is just one mans opinion for his needs

I own a 2010 1LT M6. I've driven a 2011 V8 and a 2015 V8 as well. I love my V6 but it obviously is the base/entry model for a reason. Suspension is soft, transmission isn't the best and it is missing some low end torque.
For me when I bought mine it was a financially based decision based on my income, student debt, and how far I had to drive to work. Within a year all of those factors changed. I got a job making more than double the money, paid off a huge chunk of my student loan, and now live within 11miles of my job. Now that everything has changed I wish I wouldve bought a V8. Do I regret buying the V6? Not at all bc it got me hooked on Camaros. I say if you have the funds to afford the V8 and the gas mileage/insurance doesn't bother you than there's no reason to settle for a V6. Now you just need to decide between an SS or a 1LE

Nope, I DD my car as much as can during the good weather, put on 11k this summer. Its a car to enjoy, not expecting it to become a collector piece, so no point to garage queen it.

My cammed, modified LS3 gets better mileage than my 15 Silverado. I switch between them for my DD. Sometimes I want to get there in comfort (truck) and sometimes I want to get there in style (SS). I only drive 3 miles to work so it doesn't really matter in my case if it was a V6 or V8. I could go with the better fuel mileage thing, but the Cruze isn't anywhere near as fun to drive as either my truck or SS.

Yeah, I always say, 'It's your car, do what you want with it.'

If it is a fact so be it, but no need to take it as more than that. If it is not a fact then say "no only x number keep in the garage" Perks of owning a V6 is we can drive the crap out of it daily. |

My 1LE gets better gas mileage than my old 2002 3.8 V6, that I sold last year. Up until then my 1LE was a garage Queen.
