My good luck and quick delivery time ran out : (
My car's been in the DFW since last Sunday so hopefully I'll get
the call today. It went from Canada to Texas in 6 days and spent 10 days just 40 miles away!! I want it so bad and it's sooo close!

Just speculating, but the length of delivery time may also have to do with the age differences in the dealerships. My understanding is that Classic Grapevine is one of the largest Chevy dealers in the country and they've been around a long time. The Sugarland location is new, as Classic purchased the dealership from bankruptcy. I'm sure Grapevine gets a ton of traffic, while Sugarland hasn't been that busy the times I've been there (though it's always been on a weeknight). This is all pure speculation because I have no idea how Chevy allocates vehicles.

Classic told me that there were 17 Camaros in front of me, but that it should be here somewhere between 10 and 12 weeks.

Well I can tell you this. Eric is one of the best I have ever had to deal with EVER. He has gone well above and beyond to answer all question and try to keep me from going crazy while waiting for my dream car. Its only fitting he works at the Number 1 dealership in the country. They are number one because they are honest, tell you like it is, and will not mark up the cars... any of them. That is why they are number one. You build that kind of name for yourself and people will always come back to you.

Ordered 2RS/SS Red Jewel Tintcoat/rally stripes May 6th from Classic Grapevine and found out today sitting at 1100. But the way we look at it...the longer it takes the more $$ we save for a down payment! Can't wait!!

I agree with you in that the wait has given more time to save money. Only I haven't been saving for more of a down payment, but rather turning my bedroom closet into an after-market parts storage room. I only have one part left to obtain and that's the Vararam intake then my wife won't feel so neglected!

By the way, you ordered 1 day after me and you have the color that I almost went with so maybe I'll be able to see your car at Classic along with mine.
I'm finally supposed to be moving off of 1100 in two days (Thursday) so you know you will either be right beside me or right behind me!
