Does anyone buy a camaro to keep?
"Demod sale"..a new word to me..I see these guys whom has spent $1000s to fix up there rides..and in a short amount of time..they have a demod sale and take it all back off and sell it losing tons of money.. Just wondered if anyone bought there car to keep? Or at least sell it the way they built it. And profit from it..
There's no way in hell am I taking off any of the stuff I put on.. I mean are the cars not worth what we have done to them? I have been building custom cars for decades..and there isn't a better feeling to see a ride roll by that you created..or better yet see It at a car show or cruise in and hear a new owner say" yea I built it"....has happened a few times.....

I bought my car to keep, just don't know for how long LOL. Now, If you are selling a modded car privately then thats not a problem. People only demod them for trade into dealers. Mods won't add any value to a used car, if not depreciate them. Lots dealers won't even take a modified car cuz nobody want to buy them. As they might beaten to shit by previous owner. So demod them and get a better trade-in value, then sell the parts for a bit extra cash.

Bought my car to keep, been modding it for years and will never get the money back, plan on leaving it to my son in my will, he appreciates the car and I really hope he passes it along to one of his kids some day

Normally buy vehicles the intention to keep them. Recently gave our 2005 Monte Carlo SS to my daughter with over 150K miles on it and still running strong. My 2006 Corvette has over 90K, runs like new and have no intention to sell (will probably give to one of granddaughters if/when I buy a new one in a couple years). Bought my 2013 SS new and have no intention to sell it (will probably be passed on to one of my other granddaughters in 3-5 years). This is why I take my time, save up and find the vehicle I really want, with the options I want. Took me a year & half to find/decide on the Corvette I wanted, took my almost a year to find/decide on the Camaro I wanted
In regards to the Camaro, I have always liked Camaro's, have owned a few over the years & was impressed with the looks of the Gen 5 when it came out; IMO, the 2010-2013 Camaro's are the best looking to date. In addition, I've invested a lot of time, money & effort making it 'mine' ... and it's paid for. Although you never know what the future will bring, at this point I have absolutely no thoughts of getting rid of it.

Keeper here. Been modding mine for years also. This thing will never go out of style and still love it as much as I did day 1.
Almost paid for, this car isn't going any where... |
