Paint code for the RS wheels - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

For those of us who scatched or chipped those precious RS wheels and have been dying to find the paint code for them, I might have some good news for ya....According to Spraylat.com (the LA office is the one I contacted via telephone this morning), the paint code for the RS wheels is WA-263M (Midnight Silver).

Are those the same wheels that come on the stock SS? I got a 2LT but had them put the 2ss 20" wheels on and I got an RS emblem as well as a spoiler to call my car an RS even though I don't have the headlights and solid molding. Do I have the right wheels?

domano 68 & bumblebee 10. the stock 2ss wheels are the midnight silver color, so yes that is the paint code you need to paint them if they are scratched

They are most likely just normal silver. You have to find out if they got the wheels from an RS or not. Or compare it to another car with 20's.

Not exactly, they are only the same if the 2SS came with the RS package, otherwise they are just normal silver and not midnight silver.

Excellent info, but any idea how you get the touch up paint? Should it be available at the dealer?

I went to SPRAYLAT.COM and searched for Midnight Silver and for WA-263M, but did not get any hits.

I've already got some good scratches on both the front and rear rims on the passenger side.

The tires just do not cover the outside of the rims very well and I think I've scratched them while parking. Trying to get as far away from the other car next to me as possible. Unfortunately I get too close to the curb!

This is good info, but I searched spraylat.com and also goggled the paint code and color with no results. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
