Are your problems on a V6 or V8?

Tell the service manager to F himself, and contact GM Customer Service and report him...5 years/100K Miles on the drive train warranty...and a code causing REP is absolutely the drive train...anyone arguing that the throttle (and clutch in an M6 car) pedals aren't drive train is an idiot.

My 2011 SS is in the shop today with P2135. Service says I need a new throttle body and it's covered under my extended warranty. (My dealer appears to be at least a little bit mod friendly)

Have to wait until tomorrow for them to get the TB in and on the car. I'll update this thread when I get it back.

It has been about two weeks since I replaced the accelerator pedal. No further problems, car runs fine. Cost about $55 for the pedal and took about 15 mins to R&R.......

Got the car back yesterday and it's running very well with the new TB. No more codes, and my cold starts are back to "lion" levels, where they had been around "ocelot" level. My general confidence in the car is back to 100% after putting about 100 miles on it over the last 24 hours.

Hello everyone, hopefully Brandon with Chevy customer service gets this. My phone will not let me send private message right now for some reason

My issue is also the reduced engine power. My camaro has been in the shop for a week now. The dealer finally contacted me after multiple calls to them
They said at first my issue with this was the after market halo's I have installed. They have now ruled this out. Now they say the code is pointing to the throttle body sensor and something else (i had a bad connection with them) any way now they can't get my car to reproduce this reduce engine power and say they are awaiting Chevy technicians to get back to them for similar cases there on the mainland (I'm in Hawaii). I'm hoping Chevy customer service is still somewhat following this thread and can help me get my car fixed. I'm not sure if what the codes are but the service rep at dealer did inform me there were 35 codes that popped up 33 were lighting issues not related to reduced engine power. I did disconnect my halo's the day I turned it in. I would really appreciate any and all input and mostly from Chevy (someone please still be following this) so I can get my camaro back to me

Mahalo in advance

Want to add something to this thread I have an 11 ss as well and had this issue happe once a few years back after the supercharger install I had a computer program to go in so I cleared the codes and never had problems again. Fast forward to Sunday I bought an 11 Sierra and it threw the same codes (p2135 reduce power) gm has a tsb out on that vehicle. I took it in today they replaced the position sensor in the throttle body saying that's the problem. Gm knows about this problem I just hate.....really hate the electronic throttle body you get better response and less problems with cable bodies. Sucks that they don't cover this problem on all their vehicles. Sometime I'll switch to manual throttle body and get rid of this electronic setup.

Figured i add some info cause this thread help me out today.
I had a hard P2135 with REP, battery dis'co and clearing codes would not get rid of it. checked/cleaned all connections with no effect to PID.

I removed the throttle body and cleaned it as a last ditch effort before buying a new one and it actually fixed my PID. Now i did have excessive build up on the bottom side/blade/hinge points but it might clear it up if your having this issue.

My car went into limp mode today while in drove thru. They were all coming to the drive thru window to compliment my car and meanwhile I was cursing inside! Do you think my Vitesse Throttle Controller could be the problem?
