Question 750Rwhp wheels and tires

So as the thread states, I want to hear what you guys are running on. 750rwhp and up what wheels (brand and size) and tires (brand and size) are you guys running on. Describe the application also (daily drive that goes to the 1/4 track once a month), daily driver used in road racing, etc.

I was wondering if I should pull the trigger on some MT ET street s/s for my 20 inch rear wheel or should o go to a smaller 17 inch wheel.

welp, i'm on 18x11 zl1 style reps sitting on 325/40r18 M&H drag radials and i spin at 530rwhp/520rwtq in an Auto trans pretty much anytime i punch it (70mph pulls even).

I was considering looking at getting 17" welds for my next set, still haven't decided on tire yet.

it's still early in the day, so i'm sure you'll get more usable feedback.

Which wheels are you running?

I have mpss on my stock 20s manual trans 600rwhp tons of wheel spin. Car is going back to the shop in a few months for more power. I'm debating 17 or 18 inch wheels for the rear (nothing too expensive) and maybe the mt et street SS. The reviews are pretty high for that tire; while keeping my 20s front with the mpss on front.

There is going to be a trade-off between wheel spin and handling, no way around it. I personally run 305/35/20 MT ET DR's on stock wheels and I hook just fine once they have a little heat in them. I don't daily drive my car though so I don't mind the wiggle in the corners so much. I've heard good things about the Toyo R888's being a good compromise but i'll let someone with actual experience with them chime in.

I run a 18x9.5 tsw nurburgring wheel in the back, its a lightweight forged wheel that costs about half as much as welds would have

Just drove a friends supercharged SS with R888s all around. He claims they hook as good as any DRs he's used but they have harder sidewalls, longer life, and they handle like the car is on rails (4200 Lbs. camaro can't even touch them).

The rs are a true DR right? And the et street ss are a dr but have a little more tread to displace water right? I wonder how the street ss hook? I'm from Miami so it tends to rain a bit where I live.

And what are reps btw?
