Found out today that GM is Auctioning off car #50 it's one of 2 cars made, it's coming up at the LV Barrett Jackson Auction, it's going up on Friday and it's lot #444, Hope you like it like me.

Here is a pic we got at Camarofest with one of the 2 cars.

Thanks but i was going to post up pics of the car when i get to work, looking for them now.

This was the first Z/28 I saw in the wild--at Hot Rod Power Tour 2014. It was then I decided I had to have one. That will be a great investment down the road and it'll be very interesting to see how much it goes for. Will it be be just another used Z/28 or will it be respected $$$ for the historic car that it is?

Anyone going to this auction, can you please get me pics of the interior, any special items such as documents, etc. Really interested in documenting this car. IIRC, a member has the other one.

Never saw the car in person, but when I first saw the pics of the car (with Dario Franchitti) I recall thinking how bad ass it looked and that's when my mission to secure a Z/28 began in earnest.

I wonder which one they are auctioning?
The one on the power tour has a Chevy Performance windshield banner and tinted windows.
The car at Indy has a Z/28 small windshield banner and no tint on the windows.

If you look at the pic off there sit, no tint on Windows and only a small banner with a Z/28 on it.

The pics on the BJ site are clearly the original promotional pictures. I took a bunch of pics of the car from HRPT'14. I'll see if I can dig them up. They were promoting that car as pace car #2 and it was used just as much as pace car #1 for on track duties. The GM Performance windshield banner was added because they were a sponsor of the tour. All the GM cars had the same banner.
