GM CANADA Members Ratify New Collective Agreement
GM Canada employees have ratified a new collective agreement, however, I thought it would have been more than 64.7% in favour.
It seems that a lot of workers still, and will never, have a lot of faith in the organization and/or the auto industry here in Canada...I don't blame them. Talk is cheap. Here is a statement released by GM Canada http://media.gm.ca/media/ca/en/gm/ne...Statement.html

I hear there is product moving from Mexico to Canada.
This will be a historic first since NAFTA was ratified

All the jobs will be in Mexico if the Union keeps it up.

The real problem here is that American workers are not making any money. Send manufacturing to another country so they make the money. NAFTA at its best.

I wonder if the price of a Gen6 would be 30% less for USA purchasers if it was still made in Canada.

I wish the Camaro production would have stayed in Canada, but, I would rather buy a car built in the USA than Mexico.
The price increase on the 6th Gen trim levels , in Canada, was actually less then in the USA.
