we all have done some dumb things and yes I have washed my car in the rain, I told my wife that the rain H20 was better for the car because it didn't have all the chemicals in it like city H2o, So she gives me that sides way look and says " you stick with that thought' and I keep washing my car and some times hers. Have her help you the next time, you both will enjoy it.

wow PQ, i thought man this guy is cool, great wife, great car, then i picture you with a flashlight on your head at night, LOL. God bless you, now i don't feel so bad for washing my car all the time and people staring at me like i'm nuts. My trunk is full of cleaning products for my car!!!

About 3 times a week, after putting the kids on the bus at 7:20 a.m., I head to the hand-held self-spray car wash. I take a bucket and load of the truck with my cleaning supplies and microfiber towels and spend the next 2 hours washing and detailing every square inch of our car. Then when I get home, I inspect for water spots because this car HIDES water something awful! Then I touch up those spots with detailing spray. I must spend at least $30 a week at the car wash alone! That is $120 a month! I figure if we had to pay for our water, our bill would be about the same.

That why I'm not married, no wife to nag at me. Been there done that! I spend at least 3-4 hours on the weekend washing and detailing my Baby! My one neighbor thinks I'm nuts because every time I'm done washing and drying my Baby, I take the Baby around the block to get out all the water from the door hinges, side mirrors, etc. I don't want water spots on the Baby! Does anybody else do this??
