Seconded - really need to understand if there is an actual problem, beyond their terrible service.

Without having to jack my car up, it took me about 30munutes on my sore back to remove one side of my Legato. The next time I try this, I'm going to remove both sides and see how I like it. If I'm happy, I'll go to a local shop with my OEM tips and have them do a delete with some bolt ons. I might get to try this Saturday morning since it looks open for once.

Yes unbolted and tied them up drove it to end road back the low idle speed sluggishness problems were gone. But car seemed to miss a little but I didn't drive it very far just long enuff to see if idle response came back and it did.

I never tied mine up for my test. If you still have them off, give it a little longer test .. if you like how it performs, just do a mufflet delete.

Joe.

If you have a stock exhaust a muffler Delete will get you the same sound. That is the route I'm going down.

Sorry to hear about all of this. Not sure why the customer service issues occurred. For that we are sorry.

The issue surrounding the difference in performance experience by the one customer is the first time we have had that issue. It would be ridiculous to believe that one set of mufflers could not be defective. Our Risk free offer is real and we will do what is right. Again, if that is the case, we are sorry - again.

The Camaro 5 kits are our number one seller. We sell a ton of them. I have asked that we take care of the issue with the above customer. We offer a solid product and one bad system can do a lot of damage as witnessed above.

We are a young company with growing pains for certain. No one offers a better system for the price and we make performance aftermarket exhaust kits available to an audience that previously would not consider such an investment.

Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience.

My issue is with the passage side muffler. If you want to send me a replacement, I'll send back the problematic one.

I am the rep from Legato. I'm very sorry for your issues. There is no excuse and I don't know why there was no one communicating with you. We are pleased to return your money and pay to have the system sent back to us. We have a 100 day no excuse return policy - the only one in the business - and someone should have mentioned this to you. No one else has this as a standing policy.

That said, there is very little to go wrong with a chambered exhaust. They are fully welded 409 SS construction. Short of a baffle coming loose that would block the airflow there is nothing that can reduce power. If this were to happen, you would probably hear a very loud rattle. Regardless, we sell a ton of these systems for 5th Gen Camaro and want to make it right.

Please call our tech line and we will return your money and pay all shipping costs. I will be taking call today. - and most days.

Thank you

The problem I had was the passenger tip was welded incorrectly so the guys at the shop could not get them to line up. I no longer have the boxes or any of the packing materials seeing that no one at Legato reached back to me over the month I complained, I just came to terms that I was stuck with the system so I threw that stuff away.

This is why most businesses handle these types of things up front rather than just ignoring customer complaints and hoping they'll go away. It's easier to just solve issues as they arise rather than going the damage control route after they realize that a happy customer tells two people and a pissed off customer tells 2000.

Just my two pennies

What's the end result?
