You'd be surprised what Simple Green mixed with water will do on the shifter/steering wheel. Spray on towel then scrub the hell out of it, and it pulls all the dirt/oils and brings back the texture to like new again.

Shift Knob
Got mine from Speed Dawg Shift Knobs. Great fit & finish. Adapter came attached to the shift knob, so installation was easy... About 10 minutes. Customer service was excellent too.
