Its finally time to get back on the track, weather is starting to get nice out west (under 100 degrees) and with that we are going to try to get in at least 6 more track days in this year, was watching some videos of the last weekend at Spring mountain, what are your plans for the rest of the year and racing.

Just FYI, your 5thGen Z/28s lap times were not bested by the new GT350R (with the carbon fiber wheels).....

Here is my schedule for the rest of the year it a little ambitious but doable if work doesn't get in the way.I should have my new Hoosier's on Monday.

two days at Dominion raceway Sept 17-18 with Audi Club. 4 days at VIR in November. November 3-6. Track Daze Nov 3-4, Audi Club Nov 5-6. One of the Track Daze dates we run the Grand West Course which is the Lightning lap configuration. The other dates are the typical Full course.

Here is what i want to do, for the guys that track there Z/28, can we make a tread with your Video's of your car at the track and what track, think it will be fun any one in.

It's been way too hot (for me anyway) and wet to do any track days down here in Houston. But we have Grand Sport rented for the day in late October. Probably another day or two at MSR.

Sounds good...I have to learn how to edit my videos any recommendations on software for the tech challenged?

If your using the Gopro for the camera, they have a nice editor.

I am running Blackhawk Farms next week. Hoping to run one more before the weather fails... Brainerd, Milwaukee or maybe Road America. It might depend on how the tires look after Blackhawk Farms. I don't want to run one event on new tires and then store for winter.

Just started back up actually. There's about 4 more events as well as 3 or so open track days down here at Nolamotorsports. Probably only do 1 weekend event at 2 open days. Hopefully take it out state next year.

Any of you guys ever make it to Nola motorsports park?

There's a NASA weekend this weekend, but I just drove today's open track. Front driver finally corded so I'm done till end of month.

Are you doing the MVP Track Time weekend Oct 8-9th? I will be there doing the HPDE on the 8th and then I'll be doing an Autocross event the 9th on the Go-Kart Track.

I'll have to look for you on the 8th. If you are open to having passengers I'd love to get a ride in the Z/28!! Would be my first ride in one if you don't mind having a passenger.
