SOLD Gray door insert panels Price reduced !!

I have a set of the gray door and dash panels for sale. In very good condition, came off a 2015 with ambient light strip. PRICE REDUCED to $180 plus shipping. Will also consider trading for original yellow panels (not ones that were painted yellow).

You can have them painted yellow. You strip the silver of and paint it whatever color you want. Way cheaper than buying yellow ones. Just a thought

Thanks for the tip, wasn't sure if they would come out with the same quality finish if you repainted them.

Looked into having these painted and I don't want to cover the ambient lighting so I'm back at trying to sell them. I have all four pieces including the dash trim. I also have a friend who does hydro dipping so if you want some skulls or something on it I can price that up as well.

all you have to do is just tape off the same area that is clear on the panels now... the unpainted section is hidden anyway, so it doesnt have to be perfect

its all painted from behind so it will look just as good if done professionally or if you take your time and prep correctly yourself

So if I understand you correctly you strip the finish off from the back to where it is a clear panel again and then repaint? I'm assuming a regular paint stripper will do? If that's the case then I'll check and see if there are any guides on how to refinish the panels. I thought you repainted he face and then clear coat it.
Thank you!!

I'm betting paint stripper will damage the panel. Stripper is usually pretty caustic and will melt most plastics. If you paint from the outside you can mask the light strip, remove the masking and then clearcoat the color coat. A good painter can blend the masked portion so you could never tell it was masked.

Krud kutter graffiti remover and #0000 steel wool is whats been found best to get it done. I followed a thread on here pointing to those and it came out perfect
