Thanks Zandron. I've noticed quite a lot of misinformation out there what that harness is supposed to do. It only keeps the DRL's on when the headlights are turned on, correct?

Happy retirement Skip! Coming out to AZ during the winter?

Cars look great Jan, but they always do.

Hope you are unscathed if Matthew pays you a visit Trick.

My poor old 2003 Dodge Dakota has been getting "beat up" from my last two visits at an area Home Depot. A few weeks ago, a "new driver" pulled out of an aisle into the main thoroughfare through the shopping center and hit my left front. The collision damaged my textured bumper cover and scratched a minimal amount of paint off the left front fender. Her car did not fare as well. While she was crying, I did my best to reattach her right front headlight. Anyway, her insurance accepted liability (probably because a witness stepped up) and cut me a check. I ordered a new bumper cover from Amazon and it arrived yesterday. Seems my style bumper cover is not available aftermarket.

This past weekend, while I was inside shopping at the same Home Depot, someone was kind enough to hit my left front door with a shopping cart. It's not too bad, but still!

All of these years I've owned it, never had a collision or any damage like this. The clear coat is beginning to peel off, but that's no reason for other people's carelessness.

Finished sanding drywall and then primed everything at the cottage on the wknd . Then 3 trips to the dump, then drove to toronto airport to pickup my wife from her trip out west . Monday night we put a new sub floor and rug in the bedroom . Now we start to bring some furniture back in as this wknd is our thanksgiving and of course we are having a bunch of family at the cottsge .. i have to go up in the attic and cut out and attatch the ceiling light boxes for a couple of fans . Then i have to cutout for the wood stove chimney and put it back together...

Trickskier hopefully the storm changes course before florida , take care !

Rick don' t you just love parking lots ,seems like no one cares about anyone elses property but their own .

Wow, you've been busy!

Removed the bumper cover during my lunch break. Found some hidden damage and repaired half of it before time ran out.

RICHARD ---- Sounds like you are getting a big job done before the winter sets in. Attach some pictures when able.

TRICK ---- Looks like it is sliding west. Sending all the high pressure and hot air from Illinois to the west of you to steer that bad boy away. Hunker down and be safe.

Jan ---- Your camaros always shine !!

John - Definitely heading more west than originally anticipated! I'll be securing the homestead tomorrow --

Jacksonville hasn't had a direct hit since Dora in 1964....

Are you flying or driving? You should be fine by Saturday morning.

I'll post some cool sites & local restaurants if you're interested?

Driving our van. It'll be a fun 14.5 HR trip. We are pretty booked with the attractions and dinners but sure if you have any good sites I would appreciate it

Stay safe those that are in the storms path. I took two vacation days so I could go to the ALDS games in Cleveland. Took the trailer and its perfect weather mid 70's and sunny hoping for a big victory over the Red Sox. Rick my harness works just like you said during the day the DRL's are on and they stay on at night with the headlights.

Thanks Zandron. I needed clarification.

Hope all the Florida folks are safe and dry.

Finished the Dakota last night. My wife helped too. The new bumper cover looks great.

Hope for the best but they have already announced closed through Friday. Guess after that it will depend on damage & what happens if this thing loops back around for round 2 like they are saying. Be safe.
