What's with the handbrake being on the passenger side? I imagine it's a bit unpleasant to use all the way over there.

how can we judge quality of materials from a photoshop picture? come on for those of you judging them you need to sit in the car before you do that.

Look closely...... there is no cruise control switch on the turn signal stalk. That button is to navigate the menus in the DIC. The only cruise switches are on the left side of the wheel, and that's it.

This arrangement with the DIC menu button on the turn signal stalk is influenced by BMW and MB, who've had their DIC menu button on the turn signal stalk for years.

I am very pleased at the ergonomics of the interior. I voted extremely satisfied. The winshield wipers are a sepparate stalk on the right side, where they've belonged on every car since Japan first showed everyone how to do ergonomics correctly in the mid-1970's.

I like the gauge cluster on the console. I will certainly opt for the RS package to get those (among other things). Those gauges aren't relevant for important information, but they look cool and GM did wise to put the fuel and temp where they belong.

The fit and finish of the interior looks Lexus-like. Is that going to carry over to production? We'll see. But it's a far cry from the cheap-looking plastics we've been accustomed to seeing on GM vehicles from the not too distant past.

My only little gripe is that the passenger side looks very plain. I'd at least put a little Camaro shield or nameplate on the dash.

Other than that, awesome interior!

I got a question, is it legal to have the gauge cluster near the shifter, I think those gauges are accident prone, one second your checking your oil life or what ever and when you look up, bam, so one just cut you off on the highway, or worst !!!!!

im pretty sure things being 'illegal' or unpractical are the only reasons GM changed the things they did.

that being said im sure i will be getting a 'second by second' up-date on my Torque levels from whoever is riding shotty in my Maro.

...God i cant wait for this car.

I voted Satisfied, because looking at this car, and then going and sitting in my mustang... its like going from a stripped out work truck to a benz.

I LOVE the interior, the only thing I would change is the way the tach and speedometer look, but I'm hoping those will grow on me a bit once I see them in person. The radio/air controls are a bit 'out there' as well, but they do look kinda cool.

This is one hell of a car guys, one hell of a car.

i voted "somewhat" satisfied, i really dont like the climate controls, hopefully aftermarket can help with that later, other than that there's little i'll do to it...maybe change the pedals, something chrome and sporty..just little things i guess.

Please comment on your interior preferences.

The interior looks phenominal and the only thing I would change (will change on mine) would be the gear shift knob and a competition stereo system to sing along with the V8. ")
