Those "rivets" are actually made of a soft copper material and do not damage the rotor at all. They actually protrude about %50 in to the pad material and are there to help keep the pad material in place.

I don't think the wear is out of the normal, I think it depends on the track you are running at. They look similar to a friend of mine, track he runs on has 3 hard brake zones without much cooling time, straightaway braking is 130+ to 40-, and that is what his looked like at the end of his first set of pads, think that was around 7-8 track days, he just swapped out pads again at the 15 day mark, and has put 2 more days on since. I have run the track he runs at 3 times and my brakes definitely get beat up there verses the other track I run. I have 8 track days and 2 Auto X on mine and just ordered my first set of pads this week.
