I'm thinking of getting a different hood. I was going to sell my stock hood (2013 1le). What do you think the value of the hood is?

Captain Obvious was thinking the same thing. A black hood isn't worth anything..but a WRAPPED 1LE hood might be..depending on the body color...and shape of the WRAP!!

Speaking of hood wraps...how much does the dealer charge to rewrap the hood if you get any tears or chips in the wrap?

This one has been on the New Haven CT craigslist for awhile. If I needed a hood and spoiler, I'd say these are priced aggressively. Even when I needed a hood for my 4th gen SS I couldn't find much in decent shape at or under 500 bucks painted and ready to go.

My local dealer simply outsources it to a graphics joint. IIRC, I think I was quoted something like 300?

When you guys say wrap are you referring to a special material that is used to cover the flat black style hood of the 1LE? Just wondering as I am new to the car world. I've been driving lifted Silverados for 15 years. Still driving the truck but I SOOO want a 2013 1LE in blue..

The price of a new hood, compared to what guys have bought/ sold used hoods for are going to be 2 very different numbers. I was looking for some real world numbers, not smart a$$ comments!
