Try using Invisible Glass, you can find it most auto parts stores and, I believe, Walmart. I always had a problem with windows and tried various products and methods. Someone recommended Invisible Glass to me a few years back and really like it; I make sure the car is in a shaded area and the windows aren't hot and I use a microfiber towel ... windows come out streak free.

Finally installed the winter tires. Kept checking the 15 day forecast for freezing temps and snow and thought I had until 11/30 but then got caught off gaurd by a surprise snow flurry and 27 degree temps on my way home from work yesterday morning. Needless to say the Eagle F1s are crap in the cold.

On another note, you can in fact fit all four wheels and tires in the car. One in the trunk three in the back seat. I was told it was impossible but I didn't want to make two trips from the tire shop to get everything home.

Wheels are Voxx Asti 19x8.5 with +20 offset from Discount Tire. Only $157 a piece. Tires are 255/50r19 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2s. Supposedly a light truck/SUV tire but I felt that was appropriate for the Camaro's weight. Overall diameter is 1 inch more than stock but they clear everything just fine. Overall width is down 1 inch.

So far I'm enjoying the compliant ride and they hook up pretty good in a straight line. Full throttle minimal slip in first and none in second. Laterally they are soft and vague but what can one do with an agressive winter tire. The Eagle F1s have been slipping in anything under 40 degrees through 3rd and sometimes 4th.

Found a nail on the shoulder of my fairly new tires (bought in June) so I guess I have to buy two new rear tires since it can't be repaired...

On Friday it was like 70 degrees here, so I got my car ready for winter storage. It ended up being perfect timing, because it snowed on Saturday night, into Sunday. This was my first time with a machine polisher, it turned out amazing (no swirls!).

good news is the s550 mustang is i would say only a touch better than a camaro to drive. a little more stabile on the road...the motor pulls harder at high revs.
i loved my camaro a lot but time for a change..only a car aye.
i'll still pop in and chat sometimes..

The real question, is if you're going to pay the tax and drive it in the winter.
