Widebody's look nice on some cars.... I don't think the 5th gen Camaros one of em.
Personally I already find the car is wide, (just wide enough) pushing it any further is just over kill for me... Unless you are gonna make some kinda mean ass drag'ster. (which this one is not) I could think of a hell of a lot of better ways to spend my coin. To the guy who asked how a wider body would impact visability... Look out your side mirrors. Now throw on a wider rear end and what do you think happens? Personally, I'm used to driving a much narrower vehicle and sitting in a higher position with a better view from pretty much every angle..... I'm perfectly fine with the 5th gens visibility now...(and now sitting in other vehicles makes me feel really exposed) But it requires more attention than your average vehicle as it is without the widebody. Majority of the big trucks I see out there and the pickups with the extra rear wheels.... All over step their boundaries on the road... Especially in the city. (Hell half of the people with smaller vehicles seem to have enough trouble as it is).. Most people just aren't comfortable... or.. at least aren't as good as they "think" they are at handling wider than usual rides. But yeah, looks wise doesn't do anything for me. |

Here's a photoshop version of something similar that I would like to see.
Revolution Hood, Wider Side Ground Effects, Front and Rear Brake Ducts and taller Rear Spoiler. |

Plus think of the extra inches you are giving to potential door dingers ! I can just see the rear seat passenger dings on those hips.

Looks good. Nobody realizes the amount of work that goes into that and would crap their pants if they knew.

That's hot! Personally, I would have gone with 22 in. tall wheels.

IMO, it's too wide. They made the car in perfect proportion. The wide body doesn't look right.
