I put the top down at the beginning of summer and don't usually put it back up until fall. I try real hard not to drive in the rain!
Glad you didn't break anything. Good think that person yelled out to you

Actually I think the system is idiot proof. As soon as it sensed it wasn't going up it stopped trying.

That's even better to hear!!! Someone else needs to chime in relating to this and then we could put this subject to rest

The tonneau is a joke. I only put it on when I take long drives. An hour or more. Windscreen is always in and up and works great. My car is black so it doesn't look bad without ithe tonneau on. The tonneau is not that great looking either. Looks like a cheap tuck and roll job from the 70's.

I tried to roll with the top down and no tonneau cover... I couldn't do it.

I kept looking in my rearview mirror and seeing the top shudder up and down. It freaked me out because I keep hearing all the horror stories of everyones tops rubbing on the inside corners... at least with the cover on, I do see anything moving and I have that piece of mind that everything is ok.

Well Nov. 3rd I have an early morning cruise to Hoover Dam with my Camaro club(close the Dam down for 10 minutes for photos)...think the wind screen and tonneau cover should make their initial showing that day

If you're driving without the tonneau cover, putting the rear windows up will stabilize the air flow and stop the flutter of the top fabric. Yes, it looks weird, so just ignore them. You can't see the rear windows unless you turn around, and you'll no longer be distracted by the fluttering top. Or buy a 2017.

I agree with you. When I drive at highway speeds I always put up my windows and windscreen and the flutter is at a minimum. Besides it is quieter and more comfortable.

Didn't look too bad to me. I actually prefer to roll with the windows up, most of the time.

I agree with you about having all four windows up, makes for very pleasant cruising. No, I was talking about raising the rear windows only. That, I think, looks a bit unusual, but if you're driving without the tonneau cover and notice the top material fluttering -- and don't want the front windows up for some reason -- then putting just the rears up will calm the air flow down.

Ahhh, I see what you mean. I think I'll try that next time I'm too lazy to put the tonneau cover on during short distant drives.
