Looks like a good place for a shooting range behind the house.

I will have to map it out,, but it goes back 1400 feet. Just glad to finally be in the house. Not sure how long it will take to get settled, but we're in.

Welcome! When life slows down and gets reasonable let us know, maybe we can plan a dinner with a few of us or something.

So expensive ringing targets now. But definitely a good all-season hobby. This keeps me busy plowing and drifting when the snow is on the ground.

Here's the radiator from my '07 Impala SS. Let go in pretty spectacular fashion in line for some Dunkin. Car wasn't hot, just let go. That looks to me like a parts defect - thoughts?

Looks like it was pulled apart. Not sure how it was mounted, but maybe there was a load / stress in the direction of "pulling it apart" and it finally gave out. The one obvious mount is in the right place for this, is there another mount or something on the other side that could be pulling the other way?

I'm not seeing voids or defects but can't tell everything from one picture.

Definitely a weird break / failure - never seen one do this before.

It's super strange for sure. I don't find that there is any significant mechanical stress on that area - and definitely failing in a catastrophic mode, flashing just about all the coolant to steam in an instant. I'm baffled. Cooling system seems to be functioning fine now. The radiator cap would have let pressure off long before this should have been overloaded.
