Order question - Year around tires and RS package? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am using the GM family site to build and price a 1LT w/ RS package but it looks like there is no way to get this package and substitute the "summer" tires for year round tires.

Is there a way to do this or are you just stuck with those tires if you get the RS package?

Only comes with summer tires - no options at the factory. I will be ordering Pirelli Scorpion Ice/Snows to be installed by my dealer when it comes in.

that sucks, ill be getting mine probably in time for the first snowstorm. luckily im keeping my old car until spring. I want to buy snow tires/wheels for the camaro next winter, but i dont want to spend $1000 for 20" snow tires. If i buy wheels that would fit the LS (18") will they fit my 1LT RS?

I would like to know the answer to this also as I am weighing picking up winter tires for my current LT1 RS rims vs. getting four 18" rims and tires.

I would think they would be fine on a 1LT if the LT and the LS use the same rotors & calipers which I'm pretty sure they do.
